Future Growth for Glavcom

To remain at the forefront of the industry, competitive and ahead of the trends in technology, functionality and service, Glavcom always explores ways in which to evolve the company’s offering. That said, the decision to make further investment into the company’s production facility was recently made, with construction commencing of a 3,500 sqm facility located in Smeaton Grange, NSW.

With the project underway, it provide the industry with a highly anticipated new production and manufacturing facility offering additional services to Glavcom’s core production capabilities – due to open early 2016.

In other news, as a company grows, so too must its people. Glavcom has recently welcomed 14 new apprentices into its team. With a focus on passing on the skills and knowledge that the company’s senior staff have developed over the years, to the next generation of joiners and cabinet makers, Glavcom will be able to ensure that the tradesman of tomorrow will be educated in a way that will enable them to continue the quality of craftsmanship that has become synonymous with Glavcom’s joinery in the past.

Glavcom continues to work closely with key community groups to give back to the local area by providing employment opportunities for Sydney’s south-west. Such groups include: Mission Australia, Disability Options Australia, Boys Town, NOVA employment and My Gateway.
