The Central Park development in Sydney’s CBD southern district is the visionary redevelopment by Frasers Property Group and Sekisui House of the old Carlton & United Brewery site.
The ongoing project involves the construction of approximately 2200 residential apartments, around 900 student dwellings and various retail and commercial spaces across the One Central Park West Tower, Park Lane and The Mark buildings.
Watpac was awarded the project as head contractor and Glavcom was recommended by Frasers Property Group to manufacture and fit out various receptions, lift lobbies, common areas and over 1300 apartments for one of Sydney’s latest iconic residential properties, that includes retail and commercial spaces – One Central Park Sydney, ‘a place where city meets nature’. A project that Glavcom is proud to have been part of.
Within each apartment, Glavcom also constructed and installed high-end joinery for kitchens, wardrobes, linen closets, store rooms, vanities and laundry cabinets.
One Central Park is a striking reminder that nature can thrive in the city. The spectacular façade is the canvas for a collection of breathtaking vertical gardens, which can only be described as “a flower for each resident, and a bouquet to the city” – Bertram Beissel.
With a programme that spanned over two years, the Glavcom team recently completed the final stage of One Central Park – built around a beautiful, spacious estate that will be the living heart of the Central Park precinct for years to come.
